The present invention discloses a wet cylinder liner and a powder metallurgy preparation method therefor. The wet cylinder liner is made of the following raw materials in parts by weight: 19-40 parts of silicon carbide, 17-32 parts of silicon nitride, 11-26 parts of silicon dioxide, 8-19 parts of calcium chloride power, 7-18 parts of zirconium silicate, 6-17 parts of zirconium oxide, 8-27 parts of graphene powder, 5-18 parts of a dispersant and 18-35 parts of water. Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following advantages that: (1) the wet cylinder liner provided by the invention is applicable to a heavy load engine and an aluminium alloy cylinder block engine, is not liable to be subjected to cavitation erosion, has high stiffness, and is water tight; (2) the wet cylinder liner provided by the invention is convenient in installation without the need of additional excessive sealing rings during installation and use, and has good compactness; and (3) the powder metallurgy preparation method of the wet cylinder liner provided by the invention is simple in technological process, short in time and less in energy consumption, and is not liable to cause environmental pollution.
