The invention discloses a method for preparing a Si3N4 crystal whisker-enhanced beta-Sialon ceramic coating on the surface of silicon carbide ceramic. The method comprises the following preparation steps of 1 matrix processing; 2 adhesive preparing; 3 ceramic slurry preparing; 4 slurry spraying; 5 sample drying; 6 sample sintering. The prepared Si3N4 crystal whisker-enhanced beta-Sialon ceramic coating is uniform and controllable in thickness, compact in structure and free of microscopic cracks. According to the method, the prepared Si3N4 crystal whisker-enhanced beta-Sialon ceramic coating is fewer in impurity, and the surfaces of Si3N4 crystal whiskers take part in a chemical reaction and are closely combined with a beta-Sialon ceramic matrix; the method has the advantages of being simple, flexible, efficient and easy for industrial application.
