The invention discloses an underground garage sump belt pressure leakage stopping structure and a method. The leakage stopping structure comprises a cylindrical wood plug. The diameter of the wood plug is slightly smaller than that of a water drainage hole. The wood plug is arranged in the water drainage hole. One part of the wood plug is surrounded by a foundation bottom plate, and the part of the wood plug is surrounded by a cushion layer. The circumference of the portion, making contact with the foundation bottom plate, of the top of the wood plug is provided with a circle of inorganic waterproof leakage stopping materials. The portion, between the top face of the wood plug and the top face of the foundation bottom plate, in the water drainage hole is filled with a first concrete layer. A second concrete layer covering the first concrete layer is poured above the portion, at the bottom of a pump, of the foundation bottom plate. Multiple leakage preventing means of the wood plug wrapped by cotton cloth, the gap leakage stopping materials, the high-strength-grade water drainage hole concrete layer, a steel plate and the concrete layers of the sump are adopted to successfully perform leakage stopping, the structure is firm, service life is long, and the anti-seepage effect is good.
