The invention relates to the field of stair formwork splicing construction, in particular to a stair formwork. The stair formwork structurally comprises stair side forms, a stair bottom form and a plurality of stair step form. The stair step formwork bodies are mounted on the stair side formwork bodies. A plurality of first inserting grooves are distributed in the stair side formwork bodies, and one or two ends of each stair step form is/are in inserting joint with the stair side forms through the first inserting grooves. According to the stair formwork, the stair formwork can be used in a circulating mode, a large amount of material cost can be reduced, operation is easy, work efficiency is improved, labor expenses are reduced, molding is good, and subsequent concrete repairing is not needed. The invention further discloses a stair construction method adopting the stair formwork.
