The invention discloses ceramic composite and a preparation method thereof. The ceramic composite is prepared from components in parts by weight as follows: 70-80 parts of aluminum oxide, 8-10 parts of diatomaceous earth, 2-6 parts of silicon nitride, 0.5-0.8 parts of manganese, 0.3-0.5 parts of calcium aluminate, 0.2-0.5 parts of octaphenylcyclotetrasiloxane, 0.2-0.5 parts of potassium fluozirconate, 0.2-0.32 parts of foam nickel, 0.2-0.32 parts of barium metaborate, 0.11-0.14 parts of magnesium, 0.02-0.6 parts of cobalt and 0.02-0.22 parts of silicon. The invention further provides a preparation method of the ceramic composite.
