Ceramic composite and preparation method thereof
Ceramic composites and methods of making the same are provided. The preparation method of the ceramic compound comprises the following steps: mixing aluminum slag and a carbon accelerant to obtain a mixture; and reacting the mixture in a nitrogen atmosphere and at a temperature equal to or greater than 1600 DEG C to obtain the ceramic composite. Wherein the aluminum slag comprises aluminum, oxygen, nitrogen and magnesium. The weight ratio of oxygen to aluminum is 0.6-2. The weight ratio of nitrogen to aluminum is 0.1-1.2. The weight ratio of magnesium to aluminum is 0.04 to 0.2. Wherein the ceramic composite comprises aluminum nitride accounting for at least 90 wt% of the ceramic composite.
