The invention discloses a marble laying tool and a marble laying and pasting method, and aims at providing the marble laying tool and the marble laying and pasting method with the advantages that a dovetail groove can be ground in a marble plate; marble cannot easily fall off; and the construction is easy. The marble laying tool comprises a grinding head and a grinding handle, wherein the grinding head is a cone body with the smaller upper part and the large lower part; the upper end of the cone body is provided with a grinding rod; the grinding handle is arranged at the upper end of the grinding rod; a positioning inner sleeve is arranged on the outer circle of the grinding handle; a locking screw is arranged on the outer circle of the positioning inner sleeve; a bearing is arranged at the lower end of the positioning inner sleeve; and a splayed positioning foot is arranged on the outer circle of the bearing. After the grinding handle is arranged on a power tool, the grinding head is controlled to enter the marble for a certain depth and then to transversely move for grinding the dovetail groove by the positioning foot; when cement mortar is used for paving, the cement mortar can be embedded into the dovetail groove, so that the marble cannot fall off from the laid wall surface and cannot easily become loose from the ground; and the construction is easy.
