The invention discloses a method for mounting a hollow round rafter cornice structure for a building. The method comprises the following steps of (1) determining a round rafter and a wind raising rafter according to requirements of the building and the structure; (2) connecting the wind raising rafter and the round rafter by using a first rafter collecting plate; and (3) assembling a column collecting subassembly which supports the round rafter, inlaying a pressing groove square column in a collecting column, arranging a collecting column sealing plate on the collecting column, and connecting the collecting column and the round rafter by using a second rafter collecting plate. The problem that the round rafter is inconveniently connected to a cornice and is also inconveniently positioned at the cornice in the prior art is solved. The problem that gaps and holes of the building are blocked in the later stage is effectively solved.
