The invention relates to a door, and discloses a radiation protection door for a hospital. The radiation protection door for the hospital comprises a door body, wherein the door body is fixedly connected with a rotating shaft; the rotating shaft is fixedly connected with a gear; the gear is meshed with a rack; one side of the rack is connected with a cylinder; a hollow upper door frame is arranged above the door body; a hollow lower door frame is arranged below the door body; an elastic piece is arranged between the inside of the lower door frame and the door body; one end, which is far away from the lower door frame, of the elastic piece is connected with a buffering block; and the buffering block is abutted to the door body. The problem that a radiation protection door in the prior art is over high in opening degree is solved. The radiation protection door for the hospital is moderate in opening degree.
