The invention discloses a reinforcing method and structure of pollutant intercepting floats. According to the reinforcing method and the structure of the pollutant intercepting floats, an existing tensioning cable rope is divided into a plurality of sections according to the length of the tensioning cable, a pull cable rope is added at the position of a connecting knot of each section, and meanwhile an upstream anchorage pier is arranged on the bank side of the upstream side of the tensioning cable rope or in a reservoir. The other end of each pull cable rope is fixed to the upstream anchorage pier, and tension borne by the tensioning cable rope is decreased through the pull cable rope. The problems of unreasonable structure, large and centralized stress, engineering hidden dangers and the like existing in traditional pollutant intercepting float structure design are solved. The structure of the pollutant intercepting floats is good in pollutant intercepting effect, high in safety and convenient to overhaul. In addition, quick construction implementation is facilitated by adopting the simple structural form, a construction period is effectively ensured, and construction difficulty and construction costs are reduced.
