The invention discloses a lifting cable well cover and a working method thereof. The lifting cable well cover comprises a cover body, and the cover body is arranged at the mouth of a cable well. An opening device comprises four lifting mechanism sets and a trolley, containing holes are symmetrically formed in the two sides of the well mouth respectively, and the four lifting mechanism sets are symmetrically arranged inside the containing holes in pairs. The lifting mechanisms comprise electric pushing rod assemblies, electric cabinets, controllers and solar panels, the electric cabinets comprise storage batteries and are connected with motors, the controllers control the motors to act through the electric cabinets, and the solar panels are flush with the top surface of the well mouth and are connected with the storage batteries. The trolley comprises a trolley body, and four walking wheels are arranged at the bottom surface of the trolley body in a rectangular shape. Machining is convenient, and safety is improved.
