The invention discloses anti-crack mortar for an autoclaved aerated concrete block. The mortar is prepared from, by weight, 60% of quartz sand, 10% of coal ash, 8% of zeolite powder, 0.5% of hydroxyethylmethylcellulose, 3% of zinc sulfate, 4% of quick lime, 6% of cement, 3% of aluminum powder, 4.5% of redispersible powder and 1% of water reducer. Compared with existing techniques for preparing mortar for the autoclaved aerated concrete block, the production process has the advantages that the production process is simple, cost is low, and the prepared mortar is high in strength, low in heat conductivity coefficient, quite good in anti-crack effect, capable of saving energy, environmentally friendly, and capable of meeting the requirements for construction engineering and environment protection; by pre-treating quartz sand, the stability of the mortar is further improved, and the cracking rate of the prepared autoclaved aerated concrete block is reduced greatly; water resistance and high temperature and low temperature resistance are high, and the problems of ordinary mortar for the autoclaved aerated concrete block that air shrinkage deformation is serious and crack resistance and freezing resistance are poor are solved.
