The tapping-hole clay for the large blast furnace is characterized by being prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 15-20 parts of 3-0mm bauxite-based corundum, 5-8 parts of 1-0mm Bonite, 10-15 parts of 1-0mm sillimanite, 8-15 parts of 0.5-0mm magnesium oxide, 8-13 parts of metaclay powder, 3-7 parts of aluminum cobalt oxide powder, 5-10 parts of cutting powder, 7-25 parts of crystalline flake graphite powder, 5-10 parts of compound charcoal powder and 1-2 parts of medium-temperature pitch powder. The tapping-hole clay for the large blast furnace can be used for protecting the stable and hardly-changeable aperture of a tapping hole, so that tapping is stable; meanwhile, the usability and operating performance of the tapping-hole clay for the large blast furnace are not reduced during long-term storage.
