The invention discloses a section steel and prestressed reinforced concrete composite structure support and a construction method thereof. The support comprises support piles and a top beam, wherein the top beam is connected onto the top end faces of the support piles in a pouring manner; the support piles are anchored into the top beam; the top beam is a prestressed reinforced concrete beam; first angle braces are arranged on two adjacent sides of the top beam and are made of concrete; at least one group of first diagonal braces is arranged between two long sides of the top beam; each group of first diagonal braces comprises vertically upward steel stand columns and a group of section steel support rods; the section steel support rods are formed by assembling a plurality of section steel support units and are connected onto the steel stand columns. According to the invention, the construction cost is reduced, and prestressed reinforcing steel is utilized to increase the rigidity of the beam, so that the number of the diagonal braces and the angle braces is reduced, the construction operation space is increased, earth excavation and underground structure construction are facilitated, and the construction efficiency is improved; section steel is combined with prestressed reinforced concrete, so that the construction difficulty of connecting joints is reduced, and the material repeating utilization factor is increased.
