The invention discloses a side-opening and top-hung intelligent door and window which comprises a window frame, a casement, a chain motor, a lead screw motor, an arc-shaped chain, a control device, a storage battery, a network host and a remote control unit. The casement is provided with concentric hinge shafts and hinged to the window frame through the hinge shafts. The window frame is provided with locking points corresponding to the hinge shafts. The lead screw motor is arranged on the side of the casement. The output end of the lead screw motor is connected with a lead screw. The lead screw is provided with a transmission block. According to the side-opening and top-hung intelligent door and window, through cooperation of the chain motor, the lead screw motor and the control device, and forward rotation and reverse rotation of the chain motor and the lead screw motor, side-opening and top-hung functions of the casement are achieved, the whole operation is simple, and the door window is more intelligent; and meanwhile, compared with a traditional push-pull structure, the overall ventilation quantity is larger, airtightness is better, and the whole door window is more intelligent.
