The invention relates to an expansive soil foundation improved through wood chip fibers and an implementation method of the expansive soil foundation and discloses engineering soil of the expansive soil foundation improved through the wood chip fibers. The implementation method is characterized in that the wood chip fibers are mixed in the engineering soil, and expansive soil foundation soil is formed by mixing the engineering soil with the wood chip fibers. The mass of the wood chip fibers mixed in the engineering soil accounts for 2.5-12.5% of the total mass of the engineering soil. The wood chip fibers are made of planed wood chips which are aired naturally or dried manually. The thickness of each wood chip fiber is not larger than 1 mm, the length of each wood chip fiber is 2-10 mm, and the width of each wood chip fiber is not larger than 5 mm. According to the implementation method, the engineering properties, such as strength, tenacity, expansibility and the water temperature property, of the improved expansive soil are improved remarkably, and the improved expansive soil can be widely applied to the field of geotechnical engineering and hydraulic engineering.
