Disclosed are an adjustable height bench for wall painting and a height adjustment method thereof. In existing indoor painting, a scaffold or bench is used, both have no lifting function, this gives height limitation for painters during indoor painting, great inconvenience is caused to ceiling painting or high wall painting, and danger easily occurs in climbing with unideal height. The method comprises a main footplate (1), a connector (2) is disposed on the lower portion of the main footplate, a set of butterfly hinges (3) are disposed on each side, the butterfly hinges are connected with extension footplates, the connector is connected with the upper ends of rotary upper arms (6) through shafts (5), the lower portions of the rotary upper arms are connected with telescopic legs (7), the telescopic legs are fixed on the rotary upper arms through pins (8), and a locking bolt (9) is inserted onto one end of each pin. The adjustable height bench and the height adjustment method are applicable to wall painting.
