The invention discloses an environment-friendly building material. The building material comprises the following materials by weight: 10 to 15 parts of gypsum, 3 to 6 parts of kaolin, 1 to 3 parts of diatomite, 2 to 5 parts of an inorganic thickening agent, 3 to 8 parts of a fire retardant, 12 to 18 parts of talcum powder, 3 to 9 parts of hemihydrate gypsum, 4 to 12 parts of a filling material, 2 to 6 parts of perlite, 1 to 3 parts of vermiculite, 3 to 5 parts of small broken stone (80 to 150 meshes), 1 to 3 parts of an XK gypsum auxiliary agent, 10 to 25 parts of an antistatic agent, 2 to 8 parts of cellulose powder and 4 to 10 parts of titanium dioxide. The building material provided by the invention has the advantages of conservation of energy, environment friendliness, good fire resistance, high strength, convenience in construction and good heat-preserving and thermal insulation performances.
