The invention provides an environment-friendly building material, and relates to the technical field of building materials. The building material comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 5-10 parts of carbon powder; 6-8 parts of a CO2 foaming agent; 6 to 8 parts of polyhydroxyalkanoate; 7-12 parts of epoxy resin; 4-9 parts of diatomite; 8 to 14 parts of ethyl acrylate; 10 to 20 parts of elastic cement slurry; 7-16 parts of a waterproof coating; and 3 to 6 parts of bentonite. According to the environment-friendly building material provided by the invention, after first-time seam filling, if high-temperature cracking is needed, the foaming balls can be utilized, so that a CO2 foaming agent in the environment-friendly building material is catalyzed due to high temperature, and then polyhydroxyalkanoate is used as a polymer for foaming for second-time seam filling, so that the seam filling quality is improved; and the used materials are environment-friendly and pollution-free.
