The invention relates to the field of construction of overwater platforms, in particular to a guardrail assembly for an overwater platform. The guardrail assembly is characterized in that the guardrail assembly comprises bases (1), upper covers (2) and vertical pillars (3); the side faces of the vertical pillars are provided with through holes used for installing handrail tubes, each base (1) is installed at one end of the corresponding vertical pillar (3), and each upper cover (2) is installed at the other end of the corresponding vertical pillar (3). Split type design is adopted for the guardrail assembly for the overwater platform so that all parts can be produced separately during production and assembled for use. The production cost is low. In addition, all the parts are small in size, thereby being convenient to transport.
