The invention discloses a component type curtain wall, which comprises outer layer glass and a cross buckle cover, wherein the cross buckle cover is arranged at the outermost side of the curtain wall and is used for clamping the edges of the glass; a press plate is also arranged between the glass and the cross buckle cover; the curtain wall comprises an upright post assembly and a cross beam assembly; the cross beam assembly comprises a left cross beam and a right cross beam; the upright post assembly comprises an upper cross beam and a lower cross beam; an upright post heat isolation strip and a cross beam heat isolation strip are arranged among the cross beam assembly, the upright post assembly and the glass; and a connecting fastener is arranged on the cross beam assembly. The component type curtain wall has the advantages that the cross beams and upright posts adopt the lap joint design; a water discharge groove is designed in the cross section of each upright post; the cross beams adopt the closed cavity design, so that the torsional property, the inertia moment and the resisting moment of the cross beams are greatly improved; the cross beams are installed by self self-tapping screws and spring pins; the connection is stable and reliable; and the problem of cross beam torsion is effectively solved, so that the integral structure installation is fast and convenient.
