The invention discloses a coal retaining wall with steel-concrete combination structures for circular coal yards and a method for constructing the coal retaining wall. The coal retaining wall comprises a foundation or bearing platform with the steel-concrete combination structures, reinforced concrete rib columns, a coal retaining wall body with the steel-concrete combination structures, intermediate steel ring beams and a reinforced concrete top ring beam. The foundation or bearing platform with the steel-concrete combination structures is arranged at the bottoms of the reinforced concrete rib columns, and the reinforced concrete top ring beam is arranged on the tops of the reinforced concrete rib columns; latticed structures are formed by the reinforced concrete rib columns and the intermediate steel ring beams and are used for supporting the coal retaining wall body with the steel-concrete combination structures. The coal retaining wall with the steel-concrete combination structures for the circular coal yards and the method for constructing the coal retaining wall have the advantages that the coal retaining wall is reasonable in structure, consumption of structure reinforcing steel bars can be reduced as compared with the traditional reinforced concrete integral coal retaining walls, and scaffold erecting and formwork workload can be reduced.
