Tundish air-permeable brick and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to a preparation method of a tundish air-permeable brick. The method comprises the following steps: raw materials of 76-85% of corundum, 5-20% of mullite, 2-10% of a binding agent and 1-5% of silica micro-powder are mixed; 0.05-0.20% of a dispersing agent, 7-9% of water, 5-20% of dry gel powder and 1-5% of AlF3 are added, and the mixture is stirred for 6-8min; the mixture is subjected to casting molding, and is dried for 24h under a temperature of 110 DEG C; and the obtained product is fired for 3h under a temperature of 1200-1400 DEG C. The dispersing agent is a mixture of sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium hexametaphosphate with a weight ratio of 2:1. The dry gel powder is a product obtained through the following steps: a mullite precursor is prepared into gel with a sol-gel process; and the gel is bake-dried for 24h under a temperature of 110 DEG C. The particle size distribution of the raw materials is that: the particle size of corundum is 2-0.15mm, the particle size of mullite is 1-0.088mm, the particle size of the binding agent is no higher than 10[mu]m, and the particle size of silica micro-powder is no higher than 1[mu]m. The Al2O3 content of the binding agent is no lower than 70%.
