The invention discloses ceramic powder with a low dielectric constant. The ceramic powder adopts a core-shell double-layer structure with CaMgSi2O6 as a core and Ca(Mg, Al, Zn, Co)(Si, Al)2O6 as a shell. A preparation process of the ceramic powder mainly comprises following steps: a Ca compound, a Mg compound and tetraethyl orthosilicate are taken as raw materials and calcined at 900-1,200 DEG C, CaMgSi2O6 powder is synthesized and then added to a deionized water solution containing Ca, Mg, Al, Zn, Co compounds and silica sol, the mixture is subjected to heat preservation in a reaction kettle at 180-220 DEG C for 2-8 h, and the ceramic powder can be obtained. The raw materials are widely sourced and easy to obtain, the preparation process is simple and controllable, Ca(Mg, Al, Zn, Co)(Si, Al)2O6 with lower sintering temperature is used for coating CaMgSi2O6, so that not only can excellent dielectric properties of the ceramic after sintering be kept, but also the sintering performance of the ceramic can be optimized.
