The invention discloses a production process of a refractory and heat-insulating ceramsite brick. Firstly, ceramsite is pre-treated, raw materials including, in parts by weight, 2-3 parts of silicon carbide micro powder, 25-30 parts of fluorite ore tailing powder, 8 parts of andalusite powder, 0.5 parts of sericite powder, 2 parts of white mica powder, 0.9 parts of alpha-Al2O3 nano powder and 5 parts of cement are weighed and uniformly mixed, then 0.5-0.6 parts of tartaric acid, 20-22 parts of common ceramsite and 0.8 parts of malic acid are added, the mixture is mixed, sufficiently and uniformly stirred and poured into a die to be shaped, and die stripping and steam curing are performed. The refractory and heat-insulating ceramsite brick has the effects of light mass, high hardness, fire resistance, heat shock resistance and corrosion resistance and has a very good market prospect.
