The invention discloses a preparation method of a carbon/carbon composite material coating. Tantalum-based resin is prepared through a chemical reaction and the resin is coated on the surface layer of a carbon/carbon composite material after gel is dried; finally, the coating is prepared by high-temperature treatment. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing a tantalum-based solution, filtering the solution, heating the gel, thickening the carbon/carbon composite material, coating gelatinized tantalum-based powder on the surface of the composite material, carrying out high-temperature heat treatment, coating the coating on the surface of the material, and carrying out the high-temperature treatment for 3 times. A method for preparing the tantalum-based solution comprises the following steps: putting tantalum powder into an HF solution and heating in a water bath or taking the tantalum powder to react with TaCl5 and ethanol. The heating temperature ranges from 100 DEG C to 120 DEG C, the temperature of the high-temperature treatment ranges from 1400 DEG C to 1600 DEG C, the heat preservation time ranges from 30min to 40min, and the pressure ranges from 12MPa to 15MPa. According to the preparation method, the tantalum-based powder is repeatedly coated on the surface of a carbon-carbon nano material for a plurality of times and is subjected to the high-temperature heat treatment; the thickness of the coating is uniform, the quality is stale and the corrosion resistance is very good.
