The invention discloses a building exterior wall structure having a separating hollow layer. The exterior wall structure comprises a solar photovoltaic composite plate, a separating hollow layer and an exterior wall layer. The solar photovoltaic composite plate is composed by a solar cell assembly and a fixing heat phase change thermal storage plate. The solar cell assembly is made from glass, EVA, solar cell, EVA and TPT which are laminated. The fixing heat phase change thermal storage plate is provided with a conjunction box hole, and the solar cell assembly is connected with a conjunction box through the conjunction box hole. The surface of the fixing heat phase change thermal storage plate is provided with a plurality of concave embedding edges. The heat phase change material layer can be used for regulating the temperature in the separating hollow layer, an outdoor unit of an air source heat pump air conditioner can be protected by the separating hollow layer in winter, the air source heat pump air conditioner can be started in a wider scope of outdoor environment temperature changes, so the whole energy consumption of a building can be distinctly reduced.
