Steel storage method with long-term rust protection
The present invention discloses a steel storage method with long-term rust protection. The method comprises the steps of building an open reservoir as a rust protection pool; filling the rust protection pool with water, putting lime into the pool, and adequately dissolving the lime to form whitewash; placing the steel in need of long-term storage into the whitewash of the rust protection pool; and closing a pool cover to isolate the rust protection pool from the outside; periodically detecting the concentration of the whitewash in the rust protection pool to ensure that the concentration of the whitewash is within a permissible range, maintaining an alkaline environment in the pool to prevent the whitewash from deteriorating, and discharging sediments at the bottom of the pool from a drainage hole. By utilizing the nature of the whitewash, an adequate alkaline environment is provided for the steel, air is well isolated, corrosion of the steel is delayed, the steel can be effectively protected for 6-12 months, requirements for long-terminal rust-proof storage of the stell are met, and the method is simple and convenient to operate, economical and environment-friendly.
