The present invention discloses a beidou positioning communication-based intelligent container electronic lock and a locking and unlocking method, the intelligent container electronic lock includes a housing, a lock body and a plugboard, the lock body is mounted in the housing, and the housing and the plugboard are connected in plug manner for locking a container; the lock body comprises a locking device, a trigger switch and an information processing apparatus, the locking device is mechanically connected with the trigger switch; the information processing apparatus comprises a positioning device, a monitoring device, a communication device and a microprocessor, the positioning device, the monitoring device and the communication device are respectively electrically connected with the microprocessor; the microprocessor is electrically connected with the trigger switch, the microprocessor controls power-on of the trigger switch to achieve unlocking of the intelligent container electronic lock. With the above manner, the intelligent container electronic lock can locate the position information of the container and monitor switch status information of a container door in real time, and can effectively improve the security of cargo.
