The invention discloses a frame-type heating element. The frame-type heating element comprises a metal body; a protective layer is sintered on the outer side of the metal main body; the protective layer comprises the following components in parts by weight: 8-9 parts of silica sol, 2-3 parts of poly aluminum phosphate, 3-4 parts of 4-tert-amylphenol, 1-2 parts of silicon nitride, 2-3 parts of mica powder, 1-2 parts of aluminic acid ester and 7-8 parts of silicon dioxide. According to the frame-type heating element, the protective layer which is high in hardness and resistant to heat, oxidation, corrosion and scaling is sintered on the outer side of the metal main body, so that the service life of the frame-type heating element is prolonged.
