The invention discloses a noise absorbent material particle and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the steps of 1, mixing a noise absorbent raw material, a template agent and water to prepare noise absorbent slurry, mixing a porous ceramic substrate and the noise absorbent slurry, and filling a reaction kettle with the mixture; 2, carrying out hydrothermal crystallization in the reaction kettle to ensure that the noise absorbent raw material is crystallized on the porous ceramic substrate and forms noise absorbent material particles together with the porous ceramic substrate; 3, carrying out solid-liquid separation on materials in the reaction kettle, and 4, carrying out drying treatment on the noise absorbent material particles, and roasting.
