The invention discloses a preparation method of a ceramic fiber composite sulfonated polystyrene water reducing agent, belonging to the field of water reducing agent preparation. The preparation method comprises the following steps: stirring styrene monomers in a constant temperature water bath, carrying out thermal insulation reaction on the styrene monomers and a potassium persulfate solution, washing with deionized water and ethanol, and drying to obtain polystyrene spheres for later use; mixing a prepared zirconium oxychloride solution with a prepared boric acid solution, adjusting the pH value, mixing, adding sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate, carrying out spinning, and carrying out high temperature pyrolysis to obtain ceramic fiber particles for later use; stirring and mixing the standby polystyrene spheres, phenylamine and deionized water, standing, stirring the mixture withammonium persulfate and the standby ceramic fiber particles for reaction, filtering to obtain a filter cake, washing, and drying, so as to obtain the water reducing agent. The preparation method has the beneficial effects that the preparation method is simple, and harmful pollutants are not generated or remained in the production process; the prepared water reducing agent is environmentally friendly and has no pollution to water resource, after the water reducing agent is used, the slump loss controllability use is good, and the water reducing rate reaches more than or equal to 35.5%.
