The invention relates to heat-insulation mortar and a preparation method therefor and particularly relates to the heat-insulation mortar, which has a network micropore structure and has excellent properties, prepared through forming an aqueous-phase uniform three-dimensional-network micropore structure by taking ettringite colloid as a template agent and adding a cementing material, fine and lightweight aggregates, additives and admixtures. The heat-insulation mortar disclosed by the invention has the characteristics of light weight, high strength and low coefficient of thermal conductivity, so that the performance indexes of the existing heat-insulation mortar can be effectively improved.
