The invention provides an overall lifting transport method of steel truss girder sections of a steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge. With a cable tower (1) as an original point, assembly of steel truss girder sections (11) is performed towards two sides. Steel truss girder sections (11) close to the cable tower (1) are lifted via the swing shift method for assembly; after the assembly is finished, the following 1-3 steel truss girder sections (11) are lifted via the vertical lifting method for assembly; after the assembly is finished; the remaining steel truss girder sections (11) are lifted via the longitudinal shift method to complete the whole assembly procedure. The method has the advantages of high construction efficiency, low erection cost and small site restriction.
