The invention discloses a rocker type translation power transmission mechanism of a stereo garage. The mechanism comprises a driving conveyer (8) and a driven conveyer (1) corresponding to the driving conveyer (8). Both the driving conveyer (8) and the driven conveyer (1) comprise two conveying mechanisms (12) arranged on two sides of a frame (23). The two conveying mechanisms (12) of the driving conveyer (8) are driven to move in sync by a power transmission device; the two conveying mechanism (12) of the driven conveyer (1) are driven to move in sync by a driven transmission mechanism; the driving conveyer (8) engages and disengages with the driven transmission mechanism of the driven conveyer (1) through an engaging mechanism (20), enabling synchronous transmission and separation of the driving conveyer (8) and driven conveyer (1). The rocker type translation power transmission mechanism has the advantages such as low cost, simple structure and running reliability.
