A novel acid refractory material comprises the components in parts by mass: 35-45 parts of silicon dioxide, 15-20 parts of chromic oxide, 20-25 parts of zirconium oxide, 10-15 parts of silicon carbide, 15-20 parts of magnesium silicate, and 15-20 parts of aluminum silicate. By the technical scheme, the novel acid refractory material has the advantages of high refractoriness, strong corrosion resistance and long service life under an acid environment, so as to extend the replacement period of items adopting the refractory material and reduce the production cost.
