The invention discloses a preheater inner barrel for a cement production kiln. The preheater inner barrel comprises a barrel body, wherein a buffer layer is mounted on the inner wall of the barrel body; arc-shaped ceramic hanging pieces are mounted on the inner wall of the buffer layer; a first bump stretching outwards is arranged on each of the left side wall and the right side wall of each ceramic hanging piece to form a centrosymmetric Z shape; a second bump stretching upwards is arranged at the top end of each ceramic hanging piece; a groove which can fit and accommodate the second bump and has a downward opening is formed in the bottom end of each ceramic hanging piece; two or more through holes penetrating through the upper and lower ends are formed in each ceramic hanging piece; wavy wind guide grooves are formed in the front side wall of each ceramic hanging piece; and mounting holes penetrating through the through holes are formed in the front side of each ceramic hanging piece. According to the preheater inner barrel, the structure that the ceramic hanging pieces are connected in a manner that each groove is connected with the corresponding bump in a sleeving manner is adopted, so that the ceramic hanging pieces are in seamless connection, the compactness is high, the barrel body is prevented from being corroded, and the service life of the barrel body is prolonged.
