The present invention relates to a rapid-sintering furnace repair material and a preparation method thereof, wherein the rapid-sintering furnace repair material is prepared from the following raw materials by weight: 25-55% of fused magnesia with a particle size of 5-10 mm, 10-30% of fused magnesia with a particle size of 3-5 mm, 15-35% of fused magnesia with a particle size of 1-3 mm, 5-25% of fused magnesia with a particle size of less than or equal to 1 mm, 5-20% of fused magnesia with a particle size of less than 0.088 mm, 1-10% of silica micro-powder, 1-5% of clay, 1-10% of a binder, and 5-25% of a sintering agent. According to the present invention, the rapid-sintering furnace repair material is mainly suitable for repair and maintenance of the converter, wherein the service life of the converter can be prolonged, and the furnace repair time can be shortened to 10-30 min.
