The invention discloses a cementing material and a method for preparing the cementing material and a building material from waste stone slurry. The cementing material comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 40-60 parts of slag, 10-30 parts of marble powder, 10-30 parts of granite powder and 3-8 parts of an alkali activator. The waste stone slurry is used for preparing the cementing material, so the marble powder and the granite powder can be effectively utilized, the problems of discharge and pollution of the waste stone slurry in the stone processing industry are solved, andthe waste is turned into the valuable; and the slag can be recycled, so the load on the environment caused by negative accumulation of the slag is reduced.
