The invention discloses high-strength gypsum-based self-leveling mortar which is characterized by comprising water and powder, wherein the powder comprises the following components in parts by mass: 30 to 40 parts of beta semi-hydrated gypsum, 30 to 40 parts of quartz sand with two different finenesses, 1 to 10 parts of modified perlite, 1 to 10 parts of modified bentonite, 0.1 to 3 parts of nanogypsum whiskers, 0.5 to 5 parts of redispersible latex powder, 0.01 to 0.05 part of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose ether, 0.05 to 1 part of a water reducing agent, 0.1 to 0.5 part of tartaric acid, 0.01 to 0.1 part of a dispersing agent and 0.05 to 0.20 part of a defoaming agent; the ratio of water to powder is (0.25-0.30):1. The self-leveling mortar has the beneficial effects that the self-leveling material has good mechanical properties and fluidity, and especially has excellent wear resistance and heat preservation and heat insulation properties.
