The invention belongs to the technical field of decorative mortar, and particularly relates to gypsum self-leveling mortar, which is prepared from the following raw materials: desulfurized gypsum powder, fly ash, cement, a composite air-entraining water-reducing agent, a water repellent, an expanding agent, a water-retaining agent and a toughening agent. After hydration, the crystal structure is compact, and the compressive strength of the mortar taking the desulfurized gypsum as a base material is improved after molding; a small amount of fly ash and cement are used as base materials to replace part of desulfurized gypsum powder, so that the components of the base materials are diversified, the defects of gypsum can be overcome, and the water resistance and strength of the formed mortar are improved; the composite air-entraining and water-reducing agent composed of the rosin resin air-entraining agent and the polycarboxylic acid water-reducing agent is introduced into the mortar, mortar gaps are further refined, the overall water-retaining property of the mortar is improved, the water consumption is reduced, and the water resistance and the strength of the formed mortar are further improved.
