The invention discloses a steam road roller capable of being used for paving an asphalt road. The steam road roller comprises a body. First spring spaces are arranged in the inner wall of a ventilation pipe in a bilateral symmetry mode. A first belt pulley rotates to drive a first belt to carry out driving, the first belt drives a second belt pulley, a grinding shaft and a grinding roller to rotate to roll asphalt, upward power generated by steam is used for driving a steam plate to move up and down so as to drive a rocker to rock, heat energy is successfully converted into mechanical energy,and energy consumption is reduced. When an asphalt road is paved, rolling is needed, but cooling is needed for shaping after rolling, and therefore, a cooling part is arranged to cool the rolled asphalt road. The success rate of asphalt road forming is increased, resource waste is reduced, time is saved, and cost is saved.
