The protocol control system is characterized by comprising a main control module, a machine core driving module, a machine core, a bar in-position module, an encoder module, a warning module and a people-passing counting module. A command output by the main control module is transmitted into the machine coredriving module, the machine core driving module controls a driving device to rotate and drives the encoder module to move, and the warning module and the people-passing counting module are both connected to the main control module; and the main control module needs to perform a self-test when started, the main control module controls the machine core to stop for two seconds every 90 degrees of rotation, and after rotating of three 90 degrees is carried out, the rotation is stopped after one circle of slow speed normal operation. The purpose of the embodiment of the protocol control system of the tripod turnstile is to overcome the shortcomings of the prior art, and the problems that the adaptability is poor and the safety is unable to be guaranteed for existing devices in the prior art aresolved.
