The invention relates to a highway-railway dual-purpose rail grinding vehicle. The vehicle has a road surface driving mode and a rail driving mode. The vehicle comprises a vehicle frame, a road surface driving assembly and a rail driving assembly which are connected to the bottom of the vehicle frame, a switching assembly which is used for switching the vehicle between the road surface driving mode and the rail driving mode, and a power source which is used for providing power for all the assemblies and a control system. The vehicle further comprises a rail-shaped polishing assembly connectedwith the bottom portion of the vehicle frame, and a rail geometry detection assembly used for measuring a rail shape, and the rail geometry detection assembly is located in front of the rail-shaped polishing assembly. According to the invention, the rail-shaped polishing assembly is integrated on the highway-railway dual-purpose vehicle, the road surface, track driving and polishing assembly is reasonable in matching, and the highway-railway dual-purpose rail grinding vehicle can be suitable for high-speed running of the road surface and stable low-speed running of the track, can meet the high-precision requirement of track polishing, can be applied to main lines, subways and light rails, is wide in application range, and has the advantages of being economical, environmentally friendly, flexible, small in turning radius, easy to operate, capable of achieving rapid switching running and the like.
