The invention discloses a method for dismantling a V-shaped guyed tower. According to the method, a new iron tower adjacent to the V-shaped guyed tower to be dismantled is used as a suspension point of a hoisting pulley, temporary guy wires for fixing the V-shaped guyed tower to be dismantled are installed, the V-shaped guyed tower to be dismantled is adjusted to incline towards the new iron towerby a preset angle through the temporary guy wires so as to be lower than the new iron tower, the V-shaped guyed tower is dismantled in batches, and dismantled parts are conveyed to the target site through the hoisting pulley. There is no need to directly lay down the tower or transport large-scale mechanical equipment into the dismantling site of the V-shaped guyed tower to be dismantled, so thatthe construction difficulty degree of the dismantling operation of the V-shaped guyed tower is reduced, and the technical problem that the existing dismantling operation of the V-shaped guyed tower is limited by topography and consequently construction is difficult is solved.
