The invention discloses an expansion joint dust removal device which comprises a first floor slab, a second floor slab and a cover plate assembly. The first floor slab and the second floor slab are oppositely arranged; a mounting gap is formed between the first floor slab and the second floor slab; the cover plate assembly comprises a first cover plate and a second cover plate, an expansion jointis arranged between the first cover plate and the second cover plate, the expansion joint is communicated with the mounting gap, the first cover plate is rotationally connected to the first floor slaband/or the second cover plate is rotationally connected to the second cover plate, and a dust collecting box is arranged below the expansion joint. According to the expansion joint dust removal device, the dust collecting box used for collecting dust and sundries is arranged below the expansion joint, the dust collecting box can be taken out by rotating the first cover plate and/or the second cover plate, then the sundries in the dust collecting box are removed and reused, the defect that dust and sundries in the expansion joint cannot be removed is overcome, the expansion joint can continuously keep the expansion capacity, and cracking of the wall and the ground of the plant can be avoided.
