The invention belongs to the field of furnace lining repairing, and particularly relates to a furnace lining gap repairing material and a furnace lining gap repairing method. The furnace lining gap repairing material provided by the invention comprises the following components: 25 to 40 wt% of inorganic fibers, 2 to 10 wt% of an expansion filler, 2 to 15 wt% of refractory powder, 10 to 20 wt% of abinding agent and 30 to 60 wt% of a solvent, wherein the inorganic fibers comprise one or more selected from the group consisting of glass fibers, rock wool fibers, aluminum silicate fibers, magnesium silicate fibers, calcium silicate fibers, zirconium-containing fibers and aluminum oxide fibers; and the expansion filler comprises one or more selected from the group consisting of expanded perlitepowder, expanded vermiculite powder, expanded kyanite powder and sillimanite powder. The composition of the furnace lining gap repairing material is optimally designed, and particularly, proper typesof the inorganic fibers and the expansion filler with proper usage amounts are matched and selected, so the repairing material has a very excellent furnace lining gap repairing effect, and effectively prolongs the service life of a furnace lining.
