The invention discloses a method for installing an anchor pulling plate on a steel box girder, belongs to the field of cable-stayed bridge construction, and is characterized by comprising the following steps of: S1, making an auxiliary line and an anchor pulling plate system line which are parallel to the longitudinal axis of an anchor pipe on a web plate of the anchor pulling plate; S2, making asteel box girder system line matched with the anchor pulling plate on the steel box girder; S3, aligning the anchor pulling plate system line with the steel box girder system line, and positioning a longitudinal angle [alpha] by utilizing the auxiliary line; S4, positioning a transverse angle [delta]; and S5, rigidly fixing inclined struts, so that the anchor pulling plate is kept in a positioningstate, and meanwhile, welding and fixing the bottom plate of the anchor pulling plate to the top surface of the steel box girder. By the adoption of the installation method of the anchor pulling plate on the steel box girder, the anchor pulling plate and the steel box girder are manufactured in a split mode, transportation of the anchor pulling plate and the steel box girder can be facilitated, and over-height and over-limit transportation of a girder section is avoided; and after the steel box girder is installed, the anchor pulling plate is measured, positioned and installed on site, and the positioning precision of the anchor pulling plate can be ensured.
