Closed section column connecting structure and method
The invention relates to a closed section column connecting structure and method. The connecting structure comprises a first column body, a second column body and a core tube. A first flange plate isarranged on at least one end face of the first column body, and a second flange plate is arranged on at least one end face of the second column body. The first flange plate and the second flange platecan be fixedly connected through bolts. One or more plug welding holes are formed in the column wall, close to the first flange plate, of the first column body and the column wall, close to the second flange plate, of the second column body correspondingly, and the core tube can be arranged in the first column body and the second column body in a penetrating manner and can be connected with the first column body and the second column body through a plug welding process via the plug welding holes. Industrial production is facilitated through the flange plates and the core tube, the core tube and the column walls are connected through plug welding, the performance of the connecting structure is guaranteed, efficient assembly is achieved, welding is reduced, and the construction progress iseffectively accelerated; and the requirements of the machining precision of the core tube and the column walls are lowered through the plug welding holes.
