The invention relates to an urban drainage system. The urban drainage system comprises water regulation and storage tanks, ditches, an overflow well and rain grates. The water regulation and storage tanks are arranged on a roadside at intervals and correspond to rainwater pipes, one side of each water regulation and storage tank is provided with a through hole, the interior of each water regulation and storage tank is vertically provided with a communicating pipe which communicates with the corresponding rainwater pipe, and the top of each communicating pipe is higher than the corresponding through hole; the ditches correspond to the through holes and communicate with the water regulation and storage tanks and the urban green land; the overflow well is vertically dug in the urban green land and communicates with the rainwater pipes, and the portion, close to the bottom, of the side wall of the overflow well is provided with filter holes so that rainwater in the urban green land can converge into the overflow well and flow into the rainwater pipes; and the rain grates cover the tops of the water regulation and storage tanks, the top of the overflow well and the tops of the ditches and are flush with the corresponding ground. The urban drainage system effectively solves the problem of urban waterlogging, can utilize urban greening to purify rainwater, also can drain water quicklyto prevent urban waterlogging, meets complex urban drainage requirements, and conforms to the idea of green and environmental protection.
